YOUTH PROGRAMS
Activities for Ages 5 to 10
Our early education programs focus on Smart Media Consumption, helping young children develop healthy screen habits, recognize trustworthy information and engage with media responsibly. Through interactive activities and age-appropriate lessons, kids learn how to think critically about the media they see and hear every day.
We also provide educational programs for young, inquisitive minds:
Storytelling & Expression
A space for children to create and share original stories and poems. Enhances literacy and promotes creative expression.
Photojournalism for Kids
Encourages visual storytelling by teaching kids to take and caption photos that tell compelling stories. Promotes art appreciation and guided creativity.
Fact Checking
Fun
A program that helps children distinguish real news from fake news in a fun and interactive way. Introduces media-based critical thinking.
Workshops & Media Camps for Ages 11 to 17
Youth Media Workshops and Media Camps allow older youth to dive deeper into media literacy, with lessons on digital citizenship, misinformation awareness, responsible content creation and media analysis. These hands-on experiences encourage adolescents to explore the power of media while developing skills to discern fact from fiction in today’s fast-paced digital landscape.

Introduction to Reporting for Ages 5 to 17
We offer immersive Intro to Reporting programs, with opportunities for children to explore the journalism industry at an early age. Participants will learn the ins and outs of being on-camera, conducting research and hosting interviews while creating content projects and memories that will last a lifetime!
